2006 Corley Family Proprietary Red Blend

The dark fruit and berry aromas mix beautifully with the vanilla and mocha oak. There is also a nice smokiness from the toasted oak in the background. It is a very inviting aroma. On the palate, the wine has a firm but appealing entry. The tannins are medium in intensity and frame the rich texture beautifully. The wine is full of dark fruit and dark chocolate flavor. With an hour or so in the glass, this wine opens up to even more layers of fruit in both the nose and on the palate. The finish lasts a nice long time. For those who enjoy our previous vintages of CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine, I think you will be particularly enamored with this wine. It will drink well now through 2019.
